No War!!
“No War!!” is a poster created in 2015 that reinterprets conflict through a familiar human gesture.
The composition transforms an arm-wrestling stance into a symbolic structure, where two opposing forces remain physically bound to one another. Rather than depicting war as overt violence, the work frames it as a controlled and normalized test of power.
By reducing the body to opposing limbs, the poster suggests that the nature of conflict has not disappeared, but has shifted form. What appears as competition, negotiation, or rivalry still carries the underlying logic of confrontation.
The work questions whether contemporary forms of power struggle differ from war in essence, or merely in appearance.
